Movie Night
Our next kids' movie night is scheduled for February 12 at 5:30 p.m.

As always, we'll provide pizza, juice boxes, and dessert. We'll also have popcorn during the movie, and will organize some fun games.

Movie night is a great way to introduce friends to the dojo, so please bring a guest!

Kyu Tests
We plan to hold kyu tests for adults and children on Saturday, February 26.

If you have been given permission to test, please ask one of your seniors to review your technique. Of course, Sensei and myself are always available during Friday open mat to look at your progress.

Train For Free
Help us grow the school! When you refer a student, you train free for the month. Our student promotion also applies to family members, and can be combined with our family and quarterly discounts.

Camping Trip
Interest in this year's camping trip has been through the roof. So far, we have 35 students and family members who are confirmed attendees. The camping trip this year is scheduled for Saturday, March 19 at Fort Clinch State Park. In addition to campfire stories, excellent food, and Aikido, park historians will also recreate a Confederate garrison at Fort Clinch itself, complete with black powder artillery demonstrations and marching drills.

Cleansing Class
This month we held our annual cleansing class, which was followed (of course) by the all important cleansing class party. Sensei and I wanted to thank everyone who participated, and for helping make it such a wonderful experience. We began this particular tradition in January 2000, and it has continued uninterrupted since that time.

We wanted to especially thank Andrea Patten for taking some lovely pictures, a few of which you can enjoy below. Even more pictures of the class and party are just a click away.

Upcoming Seminars
On February 5 and 6, Brevard Aikikai will host Claire Keller Sensei from New York Aikikai.

On March 25 and 27, Yamada Sensei will teach at the Aikido Center of Atlanta.
