New Students
We're happy to welcome Matthew
and Steve to the school this month. Train hard and have fun!
Student Referrals
Yes, we are still offering
our new student promotion.
In a nutshell, the promotion can help you save money while also growing the
school.
Here's how it works: For every new student
you refer, we will credit your tuition by the amount of the new
student's first tuition payment, up to your monthly rate. Our
promotion applies to both adults and children (including family
members), and can be
combined with our family and quarterly payment plan discounts.
December Tuition Due
Monthly tuition for
December is now due. If you have not already paid, please pay online
or bring your payment to class before Friday, December 4. Thank
you.

Brevard Aikikai Seminar
This Saturday, December 5, Brevard Aikikai
will host their Christmas seminar. Lane Sensei will teach, along with
guest instructors Richard Wagener of Palm Beach Aikikai,
Eliot Rifkin of Miami Aikikai,
and our very own Dee Seabolt. Please let Sensei or Jerry know if
you plan to attend.
Christmas Social
Sensei is planning an
informal Christmas social for adults after open mat on Friday, December
11. Light hors d'oeuvres will be served. Please
RSVP
by Wednesday, December 9, if you plan on dropping by.
New Years Cleansing Class
Keeping with tradition, on
Saturday,
January 2, our cleansing class will be held at 4 p.m. Rather than
talk about cleansing class, (you know, the first rule of
Fight Club), we thought you first-timers should approach cleansing class with an open
mind (and, hopefully, an empty stomach.) Here are a few pictures
from our 2009 misogi class. Sensei hopes everyone can attend. It
really is the perfect way to
start the new year.
The party following class will begin at 6:00 p.m. Please RSVP if you
plan on participating, and let us know what dish you would like to
bring. And for you old-timers, remember the rule: do not talk about cleansing class!
Kyu Tests
Our next test date is
Saturday, January 9, for both adults and children. If you missed
the last test, or have now accumulated the hours for your next rank,
please let Sensei or Jerry know so we can check on your progress.
As always, Friday open mat
is the best time to work on test techniques, outside of class.
